The Classroom

A maximum of 12 participants will be accepted for each course so enrollment is not automatic for all applicants. Acceptance into the course is determined following the interview.

Cambridge ESOL and CELTA operate on the principle of open and equal opportunity for all, regardless of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, creed, colour, race, ethnic origin, age or disability.

Assessment

Assessment is continuous, taking place throughout each course, and it is integrated, meaning that each assessed component contributes to the overall grade. There is no final examination.

Upon completion of the course requirements, participants are awarded a grade supported by a written report from the course trainers. Successful course participants also receive the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults.
